We cannot afford to run swimming sessions that have very few swimmers, and when we have responded to requests for extra evening swims or early-morning lane-swims in the past, these sessions have run at a significant loss and often had no swimmers at all. If there is a large number of expressions of interest then we will run an evening swim during August (probably 7-8pm on Thursdays), lifeguard availability and private hire bookings permitting. I have been cycling into Cambridge while the weather is good and would quite like to go for a swim when I get back. Would 16-18:30 be more popular and enable those of us that work to get a dip?
